Improve your email campaigns with Content Agent

Learn how to use Content Agent to refine copy, CTAs, images, and personalisation in an existing email campaign.

Written by Bartlomiej Rekosiewicz

Use Content Agent in EasyEditor to improve an email campaign through conversation. Start with existing content or generate drafts from scratch, then use prompts to refine text, adjust tone, update buttons, and enhance visuals. Content Agent also uses your brand voice [link] to guide its suggestions if you have configured it.

The agent uses the content in your current email campaign as context for its suggestions.

If you’re new to Content Agent, see Content Agent overview for an explanation of what it is and what it can do.

Improve your results

To get the most out of Content Agent, treat it as a collaborative assistant. Guide it clearly and refine outputs through conversation.

  • Be clear and specific
Provide direct, detailed instructions about what you want to achieve. Specific instructions make it easier for Content Agent to understand what to change.

    • Instead of: Improve this.

    • Try: Rewrite this paragraph to sound more engaging and shorten it to two sentences.

  • Iterate and refine
Content Agent supports back-and-forth interaction. Build towards the result step by step instead of aiming for a perfect first prompt.

    • Start with a general request.

    • Follow up with adjustments such as tone, length, and style.

    • Continue refining until you’re happy.

  • Work on selected content
For more precise results, select a specific block in your email before prompting. This limits suggestions to the selected block.

  • Combine feedback with action
You can use Content Agent both to review and edit content.
One possible way to use Content Agent:

    • Ask: How can I improve this section?

    • Then: Apply those suggestions.

  • Use it to maintain brand consistency

If your brand voice is configured, Content Agent uses it as context for its suggestions. You can also explicitly ask it to check or adjust tone:

    • Make this sound more like our brand voice.

    • Does this match our tone?

  • Be descriptive with design and images
Describe exactly what you want when updating styling or images:

    • Make this heading larger and bold, and change the colour to dark blue.

    • Remove the background and replace it with a beach scene.

    • Clear visual instructions make it easier to refine images and styling.

  • Validate advanced outputs
For more advanced features like Liquid markup or personalisation:

    • Review suggestions carefully.

    • Test before sending.

    • These outputs may require manual adjustments.

  • Stay within scope
Content Agent is intended for content and design changes within existing email campaigns. For best results:

    • Set up your basic layout first.

    • Then use Content Agent to refine and enhance it.

  • Keep control of the final result
Content Agent suggests changes, but you decide what to apply. Always review updates before applying them to ensure they meet your expectations.
