If you're having problems with your Dotdigital Marketing for Adobe Commerce connection or want to make sure everything is running smoothly, you can check the connection status and the Marketing account you’re connected to from inside your Adobe Commerce account.
View the connection status
To view your Dotdigital Marketing for Adobe Commerce connection status:
In your Adobe Commerce account, go to Stores > Configuration > DOTDIGITAL MARKETING > Accounts and find the heading Settings.
From here, you can see your connection status in the banner. The status tells you whether the connection is live or failing and which Marketing account you are connected to.
Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing problems with your connection, it could be because of the following reasons:
API credentials aren't valid
To fix this:
In your Adobe Commerce account, go to Stores > Configuration > DOTDIGITAL MARKETING > Accounts.
Under Settings, check your API Username and API Password are correct.
Select Save Config.
API password has changed in Marketing
To fix this:
In your Adobe Commerce account, go to Stores > Configuration > DOTDIGITAL MARKETING > Accounts.
Under Settings, enter your new API Password.
Select Save Config.
API user is disabled in Marketing
