Bynder is a cloud-based digital asset management platform that helps marketing and creative teams manage, organize, and distribute digital assets such as images, videos, and documents. By integrating Bynder with Marketing, you can sync your brand assets and use them in your campaigns.
Before you start
You must have a Bynder account with the necessary permissions to connect to third-party integrations and create webhooks.
You need your Bynder profile URL.
Images must be public and under 10MB to sync successfully.
1. Find the integration
Go to Connect > Integrations.
In the left menu, under SHOW, select Self-serve.
Find Bynder, then select +ADD.
Select INSTALL.
2. Connect Bynder to Marketing
Select Connect Bynder to connect it to Marketing.
When prompted, enter the URL for your Bynder profile.
Use only the root URL and don't include additional path information.Sign in to Bynder to allow Marketing access to your account.
Select Next.
3. Choose an image file type
Under Image file type, choose the file type of the images you want to sync with Marketing.
Expand the Sync file type drop-down menu, then choose your image file type. Options:
PNG
JPEG
GIF
VECTOR
Select Next.
4. Choose image size
Under Image file size, choose the file size of the images you want to sync with Marketing.
Expand the Sync file size drop-down menu, then choose the file size. Options:
Original
Small
Medium
Large
Select Next.
The maximum file size is 10MB.
5. Choose images to sync
Expand the Metaproperty drop-down menu and choose which assets to sync:
To create a new metaproperty, leave it set to No selection.
A new metaproperty named dotdigital_sync is created in your Bynder account. Assets marked Yes sync automatically.To use an existing metaproperty, choose it, then choose the value that marks assets to sync.
Select FINISH to complete the integration.
6. Sync images from Bynder
To sync individual images with Marketing:
In your Bynder account, select the file you want to sync.
Select the Edit tab.
Under Dotdigital Marketing Sync (the dotdigital_sync metaproperty), select Yes.
Select Save.
The asset now syncs automatically to Marketing and is available to use in your campaigns.
If you’re using your own metaproperty, find the asset, and then tag it with the value you configured.
