Integrate Marketing with Segment.com

Connect your Segment.com account to Marketing to sync customer data and events.

Segment.com is a customer data platform that helps you collect, clean, and control your customer data. It acts as a central hub, gathering data from your websites, mobile apps, and other tools, then sending it to your marketing and analytics platforms.

Marketing appears as a destination in Segment.com, allowing you to send customer data from Segment.com to your Marketing account.


Before you start

Things you need to know:

  • You must have a Segment.com account with access to connections and destinations.

  • You must create an API user in Marketing before setting up the integration. Learn more in Create an API user.


Add Marketing as a destination in Segment.com

  1. In your Segment.com account, go to Connections > Catalog.

  2. In the search bar, enter Marketing to find the integration.

  3. Select Add destination to add Marketing to your Segment.com account.


Configure the Marketingdestination

  1. Select the Settings tab in your new Marketingdestination.

  2. Enter a name for the destination connection.

  3. Select the correct region for your Marketing account.

  4. Enter your API username and API password from Marketing.

  5. Select Enable destination.

  6. Select Save settings.

Your Marketing integration with Segment.com is now active and ready to receive data from your Segment.com sources.
